For my cloning I just took a lonely sail boat and cloned it no it has playmates.
First the original;
Now the clone;
For the painting photo I decided to paint an old bard I wanted it to look like an older paint job not a fresh one so I used small dabs of paint then set the brush to mix so the new paint got blended into the original color giving the paint a more faded, weather worn appearance.
First the original;
Now the painted barn;
For this pic the subject is an old friend gone missing, I first chose the text then played with different script styles, oriented the direction, added drop shadow and adjusted, plays with inner and outer glow and beveled the edges, then choose print color and adjusted global lighting.
First the new print;
Now the original;
I love the second photo. The effects and texture make it look like a painting, very nice. I like what you did with the third photo too, almost like a post card. Nice job!
ReplyDeleteI enjoyed your cloning photograph the most. The sailboat did indeed look lonely in the original. The second photograph was pretty cool however. I have to agree that it looked like a painting, or maybe made out of clay? Anyways great job using these tools!
ReplyDeleteYour barn photo is awesome, even the before one. I like your use of the paint tool, but that smear over the door really jumps out to me. You'll be able to avoid stuff like that with practice. The color is perfect, though. With the sailboat one it would have been even cooler if you'd made an uneven number and maybe had a few not totally aligned with the original, again, that kind of detail will come with practice. All in all, very nice work this week, Tom.
ReplyDeleteYou did nice work painting that barn! I like how you varied the color, fading parts of to gray, and having areas of nice red. That's how it would look out in the elements.
ReplyDeleteTom- I really like your photos this week too! The barn looks great with the color change, freshly painted! I also really like the cloned image you did with the boats..very nice
