I like how you can adjust brightness and colors in just a selected area instead of having to adjust the whole picture at once.
This picture I decided to just have a little fum I first brightened the trees on the left then darkened the rest of the tree line, next I darkened the sky a little. When I got to the snow I played with brightness levels and curves and adjusted color balance and hue.
Here is the original.
This picture I selected an area and adjusted the color balance, and hue.

An extra one
Tom, I love the second one it almost looks like a spaceship! They are all a lot of fun and color in the mostly colorless world that makes up VT in winter.
ReplyDeleteI have to second what Jenn said! I thought exactly the same thing, that a UFO was coming up over the horizon and casting a blue glow over the water! Nicely done!
ReplyDeleteYour pictures are so fun and colorful. How did you make so many different colors in your snow on your first edited picture?
ReplyDeleteIf you lasso or select an area you can make adjustments to only the area you select so you can divide up a picture any way you want and adjust small areas separately. this comes in handy if you have a picture that only has a small area that needs correction instead of adjusting the whole pic at once you just adjust the part you need.
ReplyDeleteTom these are really nifty photos I like the areas you decided to spruce up it gave each of them a brilliant color scheme and a never before seen composition!
ReplyDeleteThat's cool Tom! I like what you've done with a touch of color!
