color
I normally like to take pictures outside but the wind and cold had me inside looking for something new to take shots of.This first shot I decided to use an analogous scheme of yellow, orange, and red.
The complementary below shot was an easy choice as I already had the red tomato jar I just added it to the green pan that happened to be right there on the stove.

I hear you, I felt restricted by the cold as well. There is only so much to work with in the house. I think you did an excellent job with your resources.
ReplyDeleteI too dislike the cold weather! I like how easy you made the assignment look...here I was trying to be all complex!! Haha...great job!
ReplyDeleteIt is very easy to spend way too much time trying to think of something creative and complex, after spending way too much time on this project I went to the kitchen to cook dinner and made the shots. Maybe next time I do less thinking and it will work better.
ReplyDeleteWhat is the yellow box in the first photo? I like that you follow the pattern of cooking in your photos. Interesting that so many of us chose to use red and green for the complementary task.
ReplyDeleteThe yellow box is a large container of cornstarch, I think red and green come easiest to many of us as they are traditional Christmas colors and are often together. I had planed to use my decorations but the small storage shed I put them in collapsed last week, on the bright side I will have all new decorations for next Christmas LOL.

ReplyDeleteYAY - foody photos, excellent idea! I love the ideas of these, although the flash lighting is harsh and your composition is a little lacking. We'll learn more about that, though, so don't worry at this point.
