I never really gave much thought before this class to picture composition and shot angle, most of the pictures I have taken over the years have had no planning, if I happen to see something while I have a camera with me I take a picture. Most pictures are spontaneous and either taken at standing level or out the car window. I never paid much attention to composing a shot, I have always felt that photo aesthetics are individual to the viewer, in other words like all art what one person may consider art or great composition may only represent a load of crap to another viewer. I do hope to get some time ( when I don't have to wade through the snow to experiment more with angles and picture composition

color
I normally like to take pictures outside but the wind and cold had me inside looking for something new to take shots of.This first shot I decided to use an analogous scheme of yellow, orange, and red.

The complementary below shot was an easy choice as I already had the red tomato jar I just added it to the green pan that happened to be right there on the stove.

It'snow fun
I 'm sorry it took so long to post this I had a hard time prying my hand from the snow shovel hehehe.
After shooting many pictures of a number of subjects I finally decided on these two, the first one I like because it seems to give the illusion of the subject actually sliding down the hill.
The second shot reveals the end of the slide and the fact that you must be careful where you are sledding.
I hope the rescue team comes soon.
